There's still a chance of a jury trial. If the U.S. Attorney's office presses for a deal harsher than he might get from a jury and judge, the defense might roll the dice. Not highly likely, but still possible. Of course, thinking a jury and judge will have even an iota of sympathy for a guy who conspired with a father to have sex with his seven-year-old son is a stretch, assuming the evidence of that incident comes in.
