  1. Each situation is different. Every guy is different.
  2. What do you think? Looks like an attempt to be appy to me. I will say I appreciate seeing the date when pictures were uploaded though. I came to realize one of the guys in my buddy list I want to hire eventually hasn’t updated a photo since 2018. A lot has happened in the world since 2018…
  3. Not so much my time. I get that I’m not selling my time or trading it. But I am compensating them for their time. If I want to hire BigDixxxJock to help me make cupcakes, it shouldn’t make a difference if he’s comped for his time. But he won’t know that if I never get the chance to tell him what I’m looking for if he thinks discussing it in advance is a waste of time. When BigDixxxJock shows up and wants to fuck and I want to make cupcakes, it’s a waste of my money because that’s not what I’m paying for. Crass example, but example nonetheless. Particularly if we as the clients are hiring with the expectation of particular things going down during our time together. And don’t get me started on those statements about paying for time only. Come on. We know what this is about.
  4. This is why I like to communicate before the meetup. Sadly, that’s seen as a waste of time. Somehow advertising something and no delivering on it though isn’t seen as a waste of money.
  5. I assume you really are only reviewing if service was extreme…extremely good or extremely bad. If expectations were met, why review? So all fives is helpful. It suggests things were good. All fives is not helpful if anything but fives are removed.
  6. I’ve seen it happen. Not with my own reviews. I’ve never left a negative one. But guys I’ve been watching have less than 5 star reviews disappear.
  7. @DrownedBoy, if they’re still removing negative reviews even after the new policy went into effect, it’s not a helpful picture.
  8. The fact that RM removes bad reviews, any of them, at the request of the escort makes them worthless to me.
  9. Sorry for the double post. What determines if a client appears not to be serious? That seems to be said a lot with no real clarity what makes for it. As a client, it would be helpful to know so I don’t accidentally fall in that pit.
  10. I don’t understand this. I’m always happy to discuss things thoroughly. My experience has been the escort is uninterested in having a real conversation after 2 texts, if it gets that far. Particularly if you’re looking for a new guy.
  11. The cost of hiring has increased at a time when a dollar doesn’t go as far. Pleasure goods like escorts are going to see a decrease in demand, even without increased prices for services. With a decrease in demand generally and an increase in price, I can totally understand that the client market is depressed. I know I’m in a saving pattern for my next hire, and it’s been harder to get that play money account to fill up like before.
  12. Sometimes the steroids can change a guy’s mood. In his porn he bottoms. On his profile it says versatile/top. Curious…
  13. Has anyone had any recent experience with him? He’s currently in the UK, which wouldn’t stop me from flying him in. I would just like some recent intel on him.
  14. The single picture and minimal writeup makes me uneasy. I’d pass. How invested can he be if he can’t even be bothered to put together an ad?
  15. I was just in the UK two months ago for vacation. I used bills. But I wouldn’t say they were “paper.” Unless you have banknotes that are older than these, you’re fine. £5 – 2016 £10 – 2017 £20 – 2020 £50 – 2021 Most paper banknotes have been recalled. And yes, the new polymer bills are a lot like the old paper bills. You definitely can stuff them in the g-string of a stripped with the same ease as paper bills! And the stripper will likely be just as friendly as when it was paper! 🤣
  16. Once realized it was here, we set out to flattten the curve, so as not to mimic China and Italy. It is amazing to me that we have all but forgotten that. The goal was not to overwhelm the hospitals – precisely because we knew it unavoidable. Of course we had a secondary goal of not getting sick. But had the curve flattened early, I think our discourse around all this sound very different.
  17. You can’t compare Covid to anything else if you insist it’s different. A jumbo jet stat is impressive, but we don’t care about the other stats, some of them much higher, because it’s not novel. We still are taking advantage of ignorance around Covid to compel people by fear. The pandemic is not the same as it was two years ago. If you want to keep living like it’s April 2020, go ahead. But we have vaccines and therapeutics. We don’t need to live like it’s the end of the world anymore. Furthermore, the ORIGINAL goal wasn’t to avoid the disease. It was to flatten the curve, or in other words, not to overwhelmed hospitals. That’s not happening now, so if we realized that goal, we’re able to go about our lives. And I don’t care if people think my response is selfish. I did what I could’ve and should’ve when there was nothing but behavioral changes that could mitigate the severity of the pandemic. The situation is different now than it was two years ago. But there are a lot of people who don’t want the pandemic to end for some warped reason. It’s almost as if they like living a shell of life. Maybe a mask gives them a sense of control of something they can’t control. People are still getting Covid even with masks. Short of becoming hermits we aren’t going to avoid Covid. Not interested.
  18. @KensingtonHomo– Oh, there’s always a response. My response is to live my life because I’ve followed the reasonable precautions when it was an acute situation. It’s not acute now. 350 deaths a day? That stat seems low me, actually, given all the handwringing, but okay. We’ll go with it. Some math…some facts, not feelings, opinions, or blame. Cold numbers. 350 daily deaths accounts for 0.000106% of the US population, or 1.06 persons per 1 million. On average, 100 people die in car accidents every day in the US. Not as high as 350, but still not a negligible amount. About 1600 people die every day from cancer in the US. About 2300 deaths a day in the US from cardiovascular disease. About 400 daily deaths in the US immediately traceable to strokes. And 130 daily suicides on average in the US. Maybe 350 deaths a day is…gasp!…just a stat at this point.
  19. I don’t need your unacceptance negatively impacting my life. Your life. Your choices. My life. My choices. “We” are past the point of compelling behavior. “We” need to learn to live with COVID because “we” all know the risks. “We” don’t need people continuing to bombard us for the umpteenth time about the facts. “We” are informed now and possess the means to protect ourselves from death-dealing sickness. “We” therefore have at our disposal the tools to make individual choices that are right for us.
  20. @KensingtonHomo– No sense litigating all that now. And God forbid we make the flu association, but the flu shot doesn’t prevent the flu either. And it’s updated every year. As we learn more, we’ll get better at dealing with COVID. But we can’t simply live masked, socially distant lives for decades. I speak as one whose mother died from COVID.
  21. @Jarrod_Uncut, I think you more or less stated your opinion before Jamie. @Jamie21 was the one providing an alternative.
  22. Immediate hire is what I meant. Although Grindr is all about immediacy too.
  23. And the stronger they want an immediate hookup versus a scheduled one. Everything is immediately gratification.
  24. Potentially if that’s your goal. But a guy should show up and feel uncomfortable or the escort isn’t as advertised for whatever reason. That should be acceptable grounds to call it off. An escort could also call it off if he felt uncomfortable. I don’t think either is unreasonable.
  25. Correct me if I misunderstood, but are we suggesting that if a guy shows up but decides upon arrival he’s not interested, for whatever reason, he should still pay, or somehow otherwise be held accountable? How is that different than an escort who decides upon meeting that they aren’t interested? I feel like either party has the right to terminate at any stage of the game.
