If COVID is any indication how a POPULATION will respond to pandemic precautions, and especially vaccines, it’s also not going to stop it. The POPULATION won’t respond INDIVIDUALLY enough for it to be a panacea.

@mike carey– it worked for HIV/AIDS. The very fact it’s a suggested precaution is because it’s effective. Relying on every MSM to get vaccinated makes a vaccine ineffective as well by your logic. Because not all MSM will get vaccinated.

I find it fascinating you said “by mistake.” How early? I always plan to arrive somewhat early wherever I’m going. That’s not a mistake; it’s by design.

I once had a guy that I paid to fly in to had trouble with his flight being late. He was four hours late for the overnight. One of the very first things he wanted when he got there was his payment. That in its own right isn’t atypical. But he didn’t suggest for any kind of discount because he was late getting there, even if it wasn’t his fault. Of course his flight out didn’t change times. He wasn’t a repeat hire. There are all sorts of other situations where someone who is providing a service takes a cut whenever they can’t provide the full service even whenever circumstances that are out of their control are what caused it.

I always say that early is on time, on time is late, and late don’t even bother.
