And you paid only $150 for all of this? -
Bumping after only nine hours might be a sign of obsessive desperation! 😘

Signage in Catalan has only increased throughout the city in recent years, frequently taking primacy over Castilian.

Most Annoying Masseur Behavior You've Experienced
Marc in Calif replied to Just Chuck's topic in Questions About Hiring
Starting with music that the masseur likes might inhibit the client from asking to change it. After all, it's your music, right? Hence my suggestion that reflects what my favorite masseurs do: Ask the client first about his preferred style and volume of music. It empowers him. It also encourages them to subsequently be upfront with other aspects of the massage: "A little less pressure on my back, please" -- before you even ask about the pressure. -

And a great masseur asks what type of music you'd prefer, as well as how much light you'd like. 👍 -
Can you please supply direct quotes where I specifically said you don't have a right or you cannot judge? I'm very eager to see those quotes! 😘

Who's "Mike" and why did you just drop him? 😁 -
As I mentioned in my initial comment, there are a few threads about Tokyo in this forum, including some that are very recent. They have information and links for more details about the Tokyo scene. Otherwise, Google is still our best friend.

Because you cannot judge what rates he charges for different types of massage only by looking at what his reviewers paid. What you fail to realize is that reviewers don't say how much of their payment was for a tip. I can easily see why he didn't respond to your question. You weren't asking about "different rates" or charges. You were really asking why reviewers were listing different total payment amounts: massage + tip. 🫤 Now you know.

South Asia Itinerary suggestions?
Marc in Calif replied to MikeBiDude's topic in Africa/Asia/Australia
Indeed! South Asia has the Taj Mahal, excellent food in Mumbai and Chennai, the black hole of Kolkata, and the Shalimar Gardens in Lahore. It's actually Southeast Asia that @MikeBiDude is planning to visit this fall. And Southeast Asia also has much more to offer than cheap sex. ☺️ -
And what kinds of places in Germany guarantee a happy ending with no extra charge? Do hotel spas do this?

You might want to post this in the Destinations > Africa/Asia/Australia forum. When you're there, you'll also see quite a few topics about Tokyo.

The same can be said about you. So what's your point? Everyone on these forums talks about their experiences with professional service providers as well as with everyday (non-paid) partners.

Did you try calling the phone number? It's the only way to contact them.

That date is misleading. What he added in 1911 merely completed in full what he'd essentially composed earlier (1901-1903). The "tonality" didn't change at all because he'd already set down the work's melodies and harmonies. Obvious, no? That's not peculiar or even "interesting." It's what composers (and other artists) frequently do when they're busy with other work. They simply resume work when they finally have the time. In his own account of the chronology of Gurrelieder, Schoenberg states that the whole composition was finished in 1901, with only the final chorus in rough sketch and the orchestration more or less worked out. However, the pressure of earning a living (he claims that he wrote more than a thousand pages of arrangements [ed. -- all tonal works, of course!] for operetta composers), the apparent hopelessness of securing a performance of a work of such magnitude, and, probably most important, the changes of style and expression that were taking place in his own compositions, caused him to put aside this work for a number of years. So he simply put it "aside." The final touches that he added to Gurrelieder in 1911 continued the chromatic tonality of the rest of the score. It inherited no influences from other compositions he was working on in 1911. Gurrelider is a unified work from start to finish. Nothing surprising there at all.
