Your best luck is not a hotel in NYC....... most hotels that are good that time of year start at 600-700 a night and that is before resort fees. If you want to save money do San Fransisco Pride. Hotels are much cheaper going for 300-400 a night for good rooms in the city. Normally NYC pride for events and hotels alone is like 3000-4000 for 3-4 nights. San Francisco Pride is nicer and cheaper. Also the events are bigger in SF with a more positive vibes crowd, everyone is invited and every age and body type. I am from NYC and I no longer like doing pride in the city anymore because of how overpriced and commercialized to optimize profits it's become post pandemic. Also if you aren't a white muscle gay man between 35 and 40 making 6 figures with a good job, expensive clothing, and connections don't expect NYC to recieve you with open arms. Back in 2019 I was spending 1000 for the whole weekend. Now I am spending 3 times that to do exactly the same time and people had a more open minded in NYC before we got our rights because we had to work together. the party is honestly tired and negative now... Pride NYC is all about spending money and being seen... Your post and your statue is everything now for most New Yorkers here and people coming to the city. it's super Toxic to be honest. What are you looking for in Rome? clubs to go out? I have friends that still live there and I can ask what is going on. Last time I was there I did the bars around the Colosseum and here are a few of them that are fun for a cocktail. Also ask around to see if "gay village" is still a thing. it's a gay event space outdoors outside of Rome..... but keep in mind Milan has a larger gay seen when it comes to Italy. I used to live in Milan and its almost more fun then Rome for gay hangout Culture. Honetly we don't have one that is Asian only but at all major events in NYC there is a corner where all the Asian boys hang out. Best thing to do is find out a big party weekend in NYC. if there are no big party weekends on Friday and Saturday night the Eagle has a area with Asian boys on the dance floor where you can find them there. ya, we use Venmo and insta / digital pay now, iPhones for texting, social media to find out where our friends are, grinder for hooking up and have prep for BB sex / a pill to treat anything you pick up so a little has changed from when you started going there.🤪,,,,, ...... time has changed from the days anyone needing a post office

Do the Hakikulani in Waikiki, that's my favorite hotel there. hulas in the main gay bar and Scarlet used to be gay but it's straight and college kids now. Wang's karaoke bar is fun. Chris who owns it is lovely. Also, look up the gay catamaran. that is on Saturday and Sunday hosted by Hulas.
