New season began last night. My favorite acts are magicians and comics.

 

I'm glad that neither David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan are judges. Both were homophobic.

 

First couple of seasons there was a big Russian queen and later a male poll dancer the bigoted judges hated.

This is the kind of act I like! Doesn't hurt that the two performers are good looking!

In the recent show there was a guy wearing a straight jacket, hanging upset down over alligators. The judges and host and audience were acting like they were all terrified for him. I don't watch the show live but several days later on Hulu. If anything had gone wrong the segment would not have been aired and it would have been all over the news.

One act that I was rooting for sadly didn't make it. The trampoline act Elijah and Tyler; the guy with the inflatable zebra.

I was pleased with the winner. His card tricks were fantastic! I wish I knew how they were done.
