Nice, gotta love the GOP!!! As much as I love NASCAR, I have never expected much in the way of political tolerance from a sport that was born in the deep South and out of the illegal transportation of liquor. Have been to countless events over the course of my life and the sentiment is ALWAYS the same. They loved BUSH!!! lol

If you'll notice the post is from 2006, so it would be difficult to say which driver at this point. The thread was revived unnecessarily to make political point. The poster who revived it should have created his own thread to do so.

 

But if I remember correctly it was Carl Edwards that was on the cover of espn magazine in 2006

Growing up in Indy in the 70's when there were no pro sports team worth following there, I am a huge auto racing fan and have attended the Indy 500 multiple times. My current sports crush is Graham Rahal, Indycar driver. He was one of Cosmopolitan's Bachelor of the Year candidates.
