I agree! I arrived in SD in the early 90's and bought every Derik Yates and "Bobby's" and others similar I could find!

Another San Diego find in the 1980s was a model/actor named Troy. Supposedly he always did solo photos and videos because his local BF (publisher and entrepreneur Rick Ford) wouldn't allow it.
