Thanks for the heads-up, John!

I believe this is a rerun. The show I remember had Steve Erwin (sp?) the animal trainer on it. The interview with Jake wasn't nearly long enough and he wore way too many clothes. }(

But, it's still worth watching.

RE: Brokeback Cast Friday on Oprah

You need Tivo, John. You could log in to their website and tell it to record the show for you so it's waiting when you get home.

Speaking of Leno

Here's a couple of links from USA Today about Brokeback inspired humor. Both Leno and Letterman have been milking the movie for every joke possible. Some excerpts and links.

From the sidebar:

Conan O'Brien

"Today, the controversial new movie Brokeback Mountain opens, about two gay cowboys. Apparently, you can tell the characters are gay because they're dressed like cowboys."

Jay Leno

"A movie theater in Utah abruptly canceled a screening of the movie Brokeback Mountain. They felt it was inappropriate for the community standards. Instead they ran Deliverance."

David Letterman

RE: Speaking of Leno

Conan: funny. Leno: hilarious, real clever. Letterman: tired, trite, cliched, offensive (so what else is new???).

Just one of many reasons that Jay, and not Dave, got to replace the legendary Johnny, huh?

Oprah/SAGS

Hey,

Jake was looking fine on both shows...wow! I got to see an early a.m. Oprah playback. Yet, I never knew until all these post Globes interviews that Heath was so jerky to almost creepy.

Does anyone know the inside scoop on him and his behavior? Has he ever had a reported coke/crack habit or is he just naturally flustered or shy?

I caught the repeat of the SAGS on TNT & when Heath and Jake presented the film, I thought Jake should have popped Heath a good one for being all trippy.

Regardless, Ennis rocked! <g>

RE: Oprah/SAGS

When Oprah asked "Who's the life of the party?" they all pointed at Jake. When she asked "Who's the most serious?" they all pointed at Heath. You may have seen a manifestation of that.
