I have a different take on this. I had an escort explain to me that if he was traveling (rather than hosting), that by his merely having lube and condoms on him he opens himself up to incrimination... that this is frequently used as "evidence" gathered during sting operations. For this reason, on his first visit to any new client he would specifically NOT bring condoms and lube (nor would he discuss who would provide them beforehand). And I get it. Escorts deal with an imperfect world and their careers create a challenging obstacle course.

 

We need to get better lawyers for our escorts, lawyers that can throw this away as ridiculous. I carry condoms and lube at all times with me and I am not hot and sexy like escorts are. It is perfectly normal for a hot gay guy to have condoms and lube with him at all times no matter where he is going or what his job is, any judge or jury that doesn’t understand that, needs to be put in touch with the reality of being sexy and gay.

I find it hard when traveling to an unknown city to either try to carry lube on an airplane or search out a place to buy some near the airport. Does it make a difference whether you are doing an incall or outcall?

I love it when client brings lube because they know what kind they like but I dont mind bringing it

I always ask a client if they want me to supply. (I always bring condoms because I’m allergic to latex and I know what brands are safest for me, but there are so many varieties of lube out there!) Usually they have their own brand and I don’t have to bring my own. For clients who don’t have anything at all, or who are new to hiring, I already have a pack pre-made with everything I think they might want.

I personally always come prepared with what I call ‘my bag of tricks’ and depending on what I can garner from our conversation, that dictates what goes in the bag. In any other industry, if you show up to....work at a bank without proper clothing or mow grass without gas or worse yet, a lawn mower; I would think as the ‘worker’ I would be incredibly embarrassed. That being said, open communication to set expectations is always the best....but spit never hurt anyone either!
