When an escort decides to hang up his thong and seek employment in the corporate world, how does he explain the years he was escorting on his resume, especially if he was escorting exclusively?

This is asked frequently of me as I retired at 49 years of age and did not decide to return to work for 6 years.

I simply say that I enjoyed retirement but got incredibly bored and simply went back to work, taking jobs which seem like they will be interesting.

Why is it always assumed that escorts won't have any money at retirement, always with the assumption that they will have the need to work, or will need to justify their years of escorting to an employer, as if there was shame for that part of their life. It's been my observation that escorts are as responsible about their future, as entrepreneurial, and as secure about who they are as everyone else in the workforce and in the population, maybe even more so...
