We all know that the holidays are about giving gifts. :-) So, now that you've had time to digest your meal and look over your gifts, what's the best/worst gift you received for the holidays.

BEST: TKTS gift certificate. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a Broadway show.

WORST: a toothbrush sanitizer w/ultra blue light.

>BEST: Several gift cards to Barnes and Noble. I love to pick out my own gifts so there is no confusion as to what I want. ;)

>WORST: Tamagotchi pocket pet. I know my 10 year old nephew meant well. However, I don't have the time for this kind of commitment. It has to be fed, cared for, attention must be given, etc. Since it isn't technically my pet until I turn it on I will hold off for a few weeks. ;)

On the Regis and Kelly show this AM, Regis showed off his favorite gift. It's a small gadget that's used when you want to end a long phone conversation but just don't know how. You put it against the phone's speaker and it makes taped messages for reasons to "gotta go, gotta go".

the door bell ringing

a baby crying

the fast food guy at the door

static, can't hear ya!

alarms

screams, etc.

This items will go great with my "Napoleon Dynamite" talking pen.

About 12 years ago my parents bought me a gag gift and I still have it working today. It is hooked up to my phone and it is called "Phone Effects". A doorbell, a baby crying, a scream, a horn honking .... it is great fun. I believe Spencer's Gifts sold the item.

I am sure sales of Regis' toy will go up now.

I looked and looked and looked but couldnt find the perfect gift for Cooper aka: "The Mayor" if someone knows where to find a "STINKY FINGER DETECTOR" no price would be too high, I will be glad to gift the Mayor with same.... :p

Taz, I just read a tag line that tops yours (or should I say mine). Thanks to the timeliness of escort "Tygerscent", I'll re-print it here, taken from the Escort Travels Forum. Btw, this guy must know about the buffboyzz parties.

"The subtle form and scent of intimacy should be savored slowly, melt like chocolate, stain like rasberries, paint pictures in your heart like a fine shiraz in the afterglow of red wet kisses and warm whipped cream." Tygerscent 2005

My meal consisted of a Boboli Pizza and a pint of Vodka and Red Bull, so I didn't have the bloating one normally gets with a Christmas meal.

My Gifts:

Worst: Being told by the dentist that I did not need another root canal after all. This would normally be a great gift except that I'm pissed that he didn't notice the problem three months ago when I went for my regular six-month cleaning

Best: Finally getting my World of Warcraft character up to level 60 after 400 hours of gaming.

Maverick and I went out for dim sum, the second time we've done that on Christmas, and a wonderful new tradition! (BTW, we have a very mixed crowd open house on New Years Day, also the second in a new tradition, please contact me seperately if you want to be invited.) But the only game we got this year was one we recieved at one of those tacky gift gift exchanges! (You know, pick a number, open a package or steal someone else's gift.) And though it was Desperate Housewives, based on Maverick's favorite show, I know it can't have been the only good game or toy out this year! Is there a law that most of the gifts a daddy bear gets need to be food?? Thank goodness for that open house and the goody table I can put half of those things on!
