One of my favorite movies has been turned into a play. I'm looking forward to seeing this and how it's been transformed.

Saw Babette’s Feast. It helped that I read a synopsis before going. Not sure how long it will be running. Sadly, when I saw it the theater was practically empty.

I have to admit this was an unusual production. I rewatched the movie the night before. They kept to the essentials of the plot and it was performed by a talented bunch of actors who worked hard but it seemed more like a commedia dell’arte which is a form of theater I’m not crazy about. Happily it was short and the ticket cheap. Hard to say if it will find an audience.
