At 77 I also have an enlarged prostrate and am up two or three times of night to urinate. Fortunately I'm still able to get and sustain a hardon and cum although the quantity of my cum has decreased considerably over the last few years. HOWEVER, I find that after two or three drinks sustaining a hardon and cumming is a MAJOR problem. Nowadays, if I intend to play around, I allow myself ONLY one drink.

Enlarged prostate too. Began taking Flomax, then the doctor added Finasteride. I notice I have to pee more often than I used to when having a few drinks.

Still can get it up, and still have wood some mornings. But, I think I have less cum, which is a side effect of Flomax. I was talking about it with an escort before hand, but at the finale he said I'm doing good cum wise. One thing I don't like is that last moment before I cum, is not as intense. Just seems to start flowing out. Still feels good.

Doctor has suggested surgery. I go for a follow up cystoscopy in a few months, and will discuss further as I'm not sure surgery would address it better than the meds, but to be honest, the Finasteride has seemed to lowered my libido, and I just don't seem to be as ambitious as before. May just be age too. The spirit is willing...

Bashful there are a number of different medial methods to deal with an enlarged non malignant prostrate other than traditional surgery. I'm curious exactly what type of surgery your doctor is suggesting. You might want to do a google search regarding this matter.

I had radium seed implants in the prostate about 17 years ago. I cannot get but about a 50% hard on now, pee a lot during the night, difficult to cum. I had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Thanks.

He only mentioned it last time when I was in for a cystoscopy, but it sounded like it basically widens the opening where the urethra goes through the prostate to not constrict urine flow. We didn't get into any details or illustrations. I'm not in a hurry for any surgery, and want to explore all my options before making a decision.

I also had at CT IVP before my last cystoscopy, and he commented that he was surprised I'm able to have a flow given the size of my prostate. I also have thickening of the bladder due to body trying to push urine out. I thought to myself, its probably the most buff muscle on my body, and nobody gets to see it.

The meds allow me to have a normal flow now, no more urgency-then stand there with only a dribble. Still have some urgency, especially after a few drinks, but not as bad. But, as I said, I'm not happy with how the meds make me feel.

My cancer was in the bladder. A mere scratch compared to yours. The treatment, and resulting side effects for you sound like it's been rough. Stay strong.

Alcohol is a depressant. That's a medical fact.

It may loosen you up socially, but rarely have I seen booze make anyone a better lover.

I remember reading a letter to the editor in Playboy or possibly a letter to the Penthouse Forum years ago. A-I’m assuming-young man said he had discovered that if he drank a certain amount of alcohol before having sex, he could last forever without cuming. He said that he liked to cum, but it was like dessert after a meal. And that sometimes he didn’t mind skipping dessert.

With me I’ve noticed -not that I cum very frequently now-but the last time I did-well when I cum I can normally feel the sphincter-the same one that allows you to start/stop peeing. It’s part of the feeling of ejaculation for me-squeezing down after the first squirt. The last time I came I didn’t feel that. I think my myasthenia was affecting my ability to contract whatever muscles those are.
