OK. I looked around as per Franco’s request and there were similar topics but from three years ago and they didn’t address the exact same topics :) Happy?

Anyway, so I was in the shower cleaning up after watching Corbin Fisher’s latest. While I was studying this pornucopia of pleasure it crossed my mind that this “Cory” boy might actually have been getting fucked for the first time and he might have been hurt. Between strokes I contemplated the possibility the camera man was supplying him with poppers between takes to dull the pain.

Flash forward to relevance while I’m in the shower as I prep my skin to shave because it’s practically a requirement in our youth centric society that values hair removal. I’m not knocking it – just saying :) And I remembered the old days when I used to wax regularly. At some point it just got too painful no matter what I did before it. I mean, hearing the guy say “doggy position” was enough to make my blood run cold.

In the past he’d told me to take a vicodin before appointments. Sometimes I would just forget, other times it wouldn’t even really affect me. Then there was the attempt at shots of vodka first, it worked but I couldn’t drive to or from the appointment and the walking created irritation and that’s no fun.

So in the shower …. EPIPHENY! Has anyone tried getting waxed and using poppers? In theory, wouldn’t it dull the pain and not be a serious problem before or after? Only problem I can see is the waxing guy getting the wrong idea.

I'm not sure this would work as well as you hope.

Poppers work mostly through their ability to relax

muscle tissue...like the sphincter of your rectum.

Getting fucked with a relaxed rectum hurts less, that's

primarily how poppers help make anal sex less painful.

I don't think that they, in and of themselves, have

an anesthetic quality that dulls the pain.

I could be wrong, but that's my guess.

If you really want PERMANENT Hair removal that leaves your skin in excellent condition get good quality electrolysis, such as the Lucy Peter's Clinics.

They have you shave two weeks before the treatment so they are only treating the active growing hairs, treating hairs that are in the dormant stage does no good. I had it done on seveal areas five years ago and to this day have no hair in the areas with excellent skin quality.

Regular gym visits, sensible nutrition, no tobacco... occassional

low UVradiation tanning, and no ugly hair all contribute to a good look.

An excellent point. Like I said -- this wasn't a hypothesis I planned on submitting to a journal, just a thought in the shower. I'm probably just asociating the head swim "numbness" with numbness of pain and getting fucked in the ass for the first time as similar to getting a brazillian.

This is probably too hairy a topic for me to comment on, but I sense a certain amount of confusion (a possible misinformation) in the thread so far. I assume that what everyone refers to as 'poppers' here is in fact butyl nitrate, the 'brown bottle' liquid sold as 'Rush,' 'Bolt,' 'Lockeroom,' and many other brand names. That stuff, of course, has no 'popping' element to it at all, unlike what purists call 'real poppers'--the tiny glass ampules of AMYL nitrite that literally 'pop' when snapped, releasing their short-lived fumes for inhalation.

Amyl nitrite, still around, but available only by prescription, is a vasodilator, causing the blood vessels to 'relax' and expand, dramatically increasing blood flow throughout the body. Thus, someone suffering chest pains (angina pectoralis) from an insufficient flow to the heart, quickly gets symptomatic relief by inhaling the fumes.

The pleasurable, pseudo-psychedelic dizziness produced by this revving up of the circulatory system is what made poppers such a hit among gay guys starting in the early 60s. And aside from enhancing all the tactile sensations of sex, it was widely thought to ease the discomfort some had when getting fucked. However, I doubt very much that the 'relaxation' effect extends to the muscular system at all. Rather than make the anal sphinter yield more readily to the push of penetration, poppers probably ease getting fucked by the swooning, dizzying sensation it has on the user: i.e. by distracting him from the discomfort, real and imagined.

How butyl nitrite works I have no idea. Long used to the euphoric effects of amyl, when I first tried inhaling 'Rush' I found it about as pleasurable as sniffing Chlorox. I still do, and I can't imagine why guys today would bother using it. Whatever--and getting back to the point of the thread--I doubt it would 'relax' the body into tolerating the discomfort of depilation any better than it 'eases' the pain of getting fucked.

(If I've got any of the above wrong--I'm no doctor, after all--I hope someone who really knows all about it will set things straight.)

Actually amyl, butyl and iso-butyl nitrate are smooth (involuntary) muscle relaxants. Therapeutically the vasodilation with amyl nitrate comes from relaxation of the arterial walls which are smooth muscle.

While the external anal sphincter is skeletal (voluntary) muscle, the internal sphincter is smooth muscle so will experience some relaxation with poppers. An unwanted side effect of prescription amyl nitrate in sensitive individuals was occasional fecal incontinence aka shitting their pants.

If you think waxing the anal area is painful, electrolysis in the anal area gives new definition to the word.

Ahhh but thus the origin of the theory. For me is DOES "ease" the pain of getting fucked ;)

In spite of the cool, "free-from-hair-back-there" feeling I got after a butt waxing (both "inside and out" as the operator used to say), I gave it up because of the cost and the pain. I'd love to know if anybody knows if electrolysis is more painful (since it is a more long-lasting result, I imagine the process is longer and at least as painful).

I imagine that a local anesthetic of some kind (something that is topical, numbs the skin by rubbing it on, is sold over the counter) would be of use here instead of lil' Scooter's suggestion, either for waxing or electrolysis. Does anybody know of one?

What about Laser Hair Removal

What about laser hair removal?

It is my understanding, that electrolysis goes

after the individual hair and, would therefore

be more time consuming and more painful then

laser removal.

I also believe that 4 to 6 treatments are usually

required for laser removal.

I didn't find waxing too painful, but I only get

my chest and back done ... never my buthole }(

I guess the questions that I have:

1) Is laser removal more effective, or less

effective, or the same as laser removal?

2) Am I correct in assuming that laser removal

is less painful than electrolysis? (I think I

read somewhere that it was, and even less painful

then waxing – but it might have been from a laser

removal clinic)

3) What is cheaper electrolysis or laser removal?

Cheers,

RE: What about Laser Hair Removal

Electrolysis or laser hair removal in the back or chest--no sweat. I can assure you that either in the anal area would be an excruciating proposition. The anus really is the most pain-sensitive part of the body.
