How to Create a Poll ?

Can anyone give me a crash course for Dummies on How to create a poll in a thread?

Click on 'Post New Thread', then scroll down and you will see the options for creating a poll.

Thanks pit, but maybe my drugs havent worn off yet cause when I do it, there is NO option for "poll". It used to be there but it aint now !

 

Perhaps the admins can advise me ?

I see one. I went to the Tech Forum for testing, clicked on create a post.

 

Then about halfway down I see a section "Post a Poll", with a space marked "Question" and underneath that

"Possible Response"

and under that "Add additional response".

honcho, you are awesome and thank you. Yes, I see all that, but these same options DO NOT appear when you create the thread in other Forums. Maybe it's just a glitch the admins can address ?

maybe polls are available to certain members.. me as well, no poll option when clicking on new thread

Hmmm, wondering how someone could abuse a poll feature.

It takes some energy. But post enough polls to force all active discussions to the third page and you've disrupted all discussion in the forum.

 

This is discouraged. Yes, it happened. Yes, we spent time we shouldn't need to spend deleting the mess.
