Since this is going to be the post before my penultimate post, I wanted to answer one of the frequently asked and, I think, more instructional, questions I get from other escorts and clients on this site which have nothing to do with me specifically, but does related to how I find the older threads on this site I frequently have provided links to in my three-four odd years on here.

As most of you know, there is a search function. Most of you seem to use the simple search or, if using the advanced search, use some of the broadest terms and uses. A perfect example of this would be a recent thread on Ask The Escort about bottoming for the first time.

Now, if you have an excellent memory like I do, you can remember some of the specific threads as well as some of the specific posters. But even if you do not have an elephantine memory, some simple common sense will suffice. Questions on lube, travel to certain cities, buying tech gadgets, poppers, enemas, wi fi access, hotels, dick size, are all common and frequently (and repeatedly) asked on this and other sites like this one.

I always use one or two key words, search first ONLY the SUBJECT field and not the message and I search all topics. Again, using the example of bottoming, rather than typing the phrase "anal sex" or "bottoming" or "bottom" (all of which would get a lot of extraneous posts/threads), I used "first time." Now, if you were searching in The Deli, you would get a lot of newbie clients asking about first time hiring. But if you then limited your FORUM search to the LOUNGE and to ASK THE ESCORTS, you only get about 50 or so responses, only a small number of which had to do with being a first time client, or other first time experiences, and it was easy to find about 10 or so threads about cleaning out, enemas, etc.

In my case, I tend to look at the ones with a lot of responses, the ones I remember responding to myself (since I frequently there posted other links), or ones where I can remember a specific poster talking about their experiences. Then it is a matter of picking the ones to link to.

This takes less than time it took me to type this (or you to read this). I can do this in less than 20 minutes for simple questions and probably less than 45 minutes for more complex and esoteric issues.

Some more advice:

Do not search all conferences. Some, like FETISH, or MALE STRIP CLUBS, will not have the answers you need or you can find similar and as usefull information without having to wade through the extra responses you would receive.

Do not search the MESSAGE or the AUTHOR fields. Unless you know it was a specific thread on say last Sunday, by a specific author, this is a waste of time that will just generate way too many hits, particularly for high volume posters (i.e. Lucky or Rick Munroe). Again, in message, unless you recall a specific comment or piece of information provided by a poster (one good example is say searching the Message field for the movie "Latter Days"), you are going to get way too many hits. Only if you are making a very specific search for a highly specialized item (generally a proper or place name or the title of something), you will simply get too many hits by searching all fields.

Generally, Ask the Escort is good for sexually related and client/escort experience questions, The Deli is particularly good for client/escort related questions, particularly to get the perspective of fellow clients, and searching only in the Lounge is your best bet for questions about, for example, buying a TiVo, or "Brokeback Mountain," or some other piece of literature, art, film, etc., or for travel plans and advice, and so forth.

If any one has specific questions, please do not hesitate to write to me within the next thirty or so days. However, some of this is advice one can easily and readily find if you go to any search engine that has a suggestion page on how to do on line research.

As for additional comments, I likely will not look at this thread again, although I am sure other clients and escorts have their own specific suggestions on how to navigate this site and their comments and opinions are certainly as valid as my own experience.
