Apple offs Bluetooth?

Got a terse message that Bluetooth on my iPhone would be off today (except for iWatch etc.). Anyone know what’s up?

If so you have turned off bluetooth in control centre. In iOS 11 toggling BT off in control centre no longer turns of the BT radio, it just disconnects most BT devices. Some found this misleading, so Apple has added the above warning message for the first time you do it.
