Scott, I'm sure that you, both as a sex worker and a man of the world, know that PLENTY of straight guys love getting a finger up their butts (not to mention tongues, toys--and more), and that it doesn't mean that women aren't still their preferred playmates. LOL. Of course not. I'm just claiming that the majority of them that are so easily taking it up the ass and going down on guys are

As a thorough study of the sociology of sexuality I just find it amazing how our community propagates this NEED for the boys getting dominated and fucked (dare I say humiliated by our cultures label for bottoms) and we "pay" more for it. The POINT though was pretty clear. We know they're not all straight and that the majority of them are all hot. It is pretty indredulous, but it's as real as most "reality TV". This kind of fantasy has been floating around the porn world for years.

Tell me if I'm wrong: You're thinking "Why do they have to try to sell these guys as straight? They're hot, they're having sex; that's enough. Telling us they're straight, even though the situation has too many clues that they're not straight, is supposed to make us want to look at them even more?"

 

Personally I think of it this way: they're telling us some of them (not all; Sean Cody does call some of them gay) are straight as a way to sell it to a certain audience.

 

Why is it good bait? Because, and I'll speak for myself here, for all of my years growing up, straight men gave me the following attitude: "You're not one of us. We have our own sex, you might think we're hot, but don't you DARE tell me or touch me or even come near me, you pervert." Well, now here's a handful of straight (or "straight") guys saying, implicitly, "Okay, you and gay sex, or simulating it, are not things that are going to make me vomit so I'm willing to entertain you with it. Yeah, okay, you think I'm hot, and I'll go along with that and show you my ass, etc. I'll come over to 'your side' temporarily."

 

So, to me, it felt like a form of acceptance of me and my sexuality by a group of people who excluded and reviled me for a REALLY long time. So, even it's a lie, it's one that got my attention.
