I admit, I use to have a bit of a crush on Ethan Hawke. The thing that always kept me from having a huge crush on him, though, was that he always appeared to have a bit of a trailer trashness to his look.

I remember watching him in EXPLORERS and thinking "Wow. He's gonna be a really good-looking young man."

And he was for a long while, although I never got used to seeing him half-shaven and cranky-looking. I haven't seen a picture in a long, long time. I hope he's kept up his appearance.

About a year ago I was on the subway. Ethan got on and sat down next to me. I groped him out .... big cock.

But seriously: what really happened was that I looked at him a few seconds longer than I might have looked at a civilian -- I wasn't sure who he was, but knew he looked familiar -- and he got annoyed. Well so it goes. You're famous, you ride the subway, people are gonna look. He did look rather scruffy. I hear he's really stinky, a turn on for some, I suppose.

RE: Ethan Hawk Manhattan siteing on his birthday thanks to Cooper

>IMHO. That's a Great photo. But probably before "Uma"? Lately

>he doesn't seem to be "Maturing" well in the looks department.

>At least not on the streets of NY. :+

I have always been a big fan of Ethan Hawk. I saw him in Hurly Burly off Broadway and a couple of years before that in a Sam Shepherd play.

Coincidently, this past Sunday afternoon (on Ethan's Birthday) Cooper and I followed him pushing his son's baby carriage from Madison Sq Garden for about 10 blocks. He was with another known actor (his character in the movie Hoffa killed Hoffa (played by Jack Nicolson) and was the device in the movie that Danny Devito's character was telling about the history of Hoffa) while at a highway diner stop.

Anyway, Ethan, and the other actor were both pushing baby carriages.

Cooper, whispered to me that Ethan Hawk was right behind us and that he was pushing a baby carriage. I immediately thought cooper was joking and said so loudly, then I look behind me and was surprised. Anyway, Ethan was pretty scruffy, face, hair and clothes. No one else recognized them. Cooper BTW, made me continue down the street and not turn off on side street to where ever they were going. Oh well, it was fun and interesting for 10 blocks.

That's the reaction I got from Kevin Bacon when we were standing together at a traffic signal. Such a glare...don't you dare acknowledge me! Now I think he is a real pig!

You should have started a long gushing conversation with him just to piss the prick off. You could have mentioned that you enjoyed seeing him naked and thought his dick looked really tiny in "Wild Things"... and that you thought Matt Dillon was way hotter. That should have made his day.

Hey JP, Live in NY and you'll see many "stars" walking the streets. When I went to see the B'way show "Jersey Boys", sitting at one end of the aisle was Bruce Vilanch (Hair Spray) and at the other end Warner Wolf (sports reporter). As for Ethan Hawk, he was just coming out of the Rangers game and was looking mighty good walking the streets of Manhattan pushing the baby stroller. It was fun watching facial expressions as people began to recognized him.... Happy B'day Ethan, we should all look so good at 35.
