Nob Hill Theatre - New Year's Eve Weekend

I'm going to be in Northern Calif. visiting family over the holidays. I thought I might check out the Nob Hill on the 30th and 31st. I've been there before on "regular" nights, but it looks like they're having a Circle Jerk with Billy Santoro on Saturday and a live sex show with him and another guy on New Year's Eve. While he's not my favorite performer, I thought it might be interesting to check it out. Has anyone been to one of their circle jerks? Details?

 

They're also having something called "AN EROTIC REVIEW OF 2017" on NYE ... I have NO idea what that entails.

I attended one of the regular Circle Jerks (on a thursday night) about a year ago with Casey Williams as the person-of-porn.

 

Then, it was downstairs in any area that was a square 20-25' on a side; maybe 15-20 attended. The ticket-taker upstairs insisted it was not a bath-house and said they don't offer a clothes check, but where willing to check my shirt and jacket.

 

At 64 (then), and being far from ripped, I didn't attract much attention, but Williams was interested in certain seven-and-a-half inches of my anatomy, and despite my intention not to cum quick, he gave me a HE much faster than I intended.

 

Be prepared for Santoro to be mobbed, and to have to be a little assertive in order to worm your way in and have a good look.

 

Nonetheless, I did enjoy myself and thought small fee was well worth it.

I went to my first Nob Hill "sex show" in late October, 2017......it was somewhat staged/choreographed, but not bad.....the two dudes stopped every few minutes to mine the audience for tips, then got back at it on stage.....no full-on anal sex, but I think there were perfunctory blow jobs, passionate kissing, etc.....I think one or both got off, but it wasn't obvious with the music and lighting......however, the audience member a few seats away from me was certainly going at it with himself......

 

I asked a staff member if the sex shows ever include full-on anal sex and he, honestly, I believe, said it's up to the individual performers to decide themselves what they'll do......

for the regular dancers in the main theater, I'll tip $10-15 for a few minutes of them showing off/grinding right at my seat as they periodically mill about the audience during their half-hour-ish gigs.....

 

and I don't think there are "private booths" at Nob Hill??.....somebody correct me if I'm wrong!......there are the "arcade" and dark areas downstairs with lots of booths, but that is primarily for regular customers to use for free, right?......I don't think the performers typically do the "private booth" thing with customers at Nob Hill??.....

I haven’t been there in a while but there used to be private booths in the back room with the little stage. And yes you could join a dancer for some private 1:1 time there

I know there used to be. For a little while they had a shower show, and there were like 4 booths you could pay extra to go in and watch. only no one ever watched the shower show, just what was going onn in teh boooth next to theirs (strategic placed mirrors). After that they used them as private booths.But this was years ago.

Been a long time for me... and probably something Id need to adjust for contemporary norms. I tipped singles in the theatre. Singles kept flowing while he stood before me. That was 15-25 years ago... probably not enough to hold a dancer's attention these days.

 

My forays were probably not the norm. In the era that many house dancers appealed to me, when a headliner caught my attention, i spent the whole day there. Drove in from suburbia, paid the (then) $30 admission, saw the headliner at 1pm. Id come and go from the theatre, shopping in nearby Union Square, running errands around town, lunch and/or dinner, etc. Headliners then were on-stage 1, 5, 8, & 11pm. Drove home 12 midnight or later.

 

And house dancers who didnt appeal to me, I left the auditorium. Often hung out on Bush St with other house dancers or the headliner. So I never needed to actively disrespect or not-tip a house dancer whose show I watched. i.e, no interest, no tipping, but at least not the game I saw other patrons play.... let the guy bump & grind and lap dance in hopes of tips that never materialized.
