Don’t expect Sean Combs to respond to any of his former monikers – Diddy, P. Diddy, Puffy Daddy, Puff etc.

On Saturday, the media mogul announced he’ll be going by Love or Brother Love moving forward.

“I decided to change my name again,” he said on Twitter from a seaside location. “I’m just not who I am before. I’m something different. So, my new name is Love, aka Brother Love.”

“I’ve been praying on this…,” he explained. “I know it’s risky. It could come off as corny to some people.”

The announcement came on his 48th birthday.

I can't wait until next week when he adds '-Hewitt' to his newest name.

Perhaps Sean Combs should have scrolled through social media before switching up his moniker.

After changing his name to “Brother Love” on his 48th birthday on Saturday, the music mogul was hit with a slew of responses as Twitterverse informed him the name was already taken by wrestling personality Bruce Prichard, a.k.a. the first Brother Love.

“I’m sorry Diddy imma let you finish, but @bruceprichard is the greatest Brother Love Of ALL TIME,” one user tweeted.

“Note to @diddy there will always be only one Brother Love @WWE,” posted another.

It didn’t take long for the OG Brother Love to dismiss Combs’ claim to the name.

Yo. Find a new gimmick. I invented and perfected Brother Love. I am the original and you are not. Remember North Carolina.

Prichard, 54, made his WWE debut in June 1988 as Brother Love. He was released from the organization in 1991, before returning a year later.

Diddy almost did it again.

Sean Combs — who currently goes by Diddy and previously went by Puff Daddy, Puffy and P. Diddy — clarified that he was “only joking” when he announced over the weekend that he would be changing his name once again.

“Well, ladies and gentlemen, today I’ve come to the conclusion that you cannot play around with the internet,” he said in a video on Instagram Monday night.

Diddy had uploaded another video to Twitter on Saturday where he said flat out he “decided to change (his) name again” — this time to Love a.k.a Brother Love.

“Due to the overwhelming response from the media out there… and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion… I was only joking. Okay?” he said in the video. “I didn’t change my name. It’s just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is Love.”

Combs, 48, was laughing in the video where he said he wanted to set things straight because he’s doing press in the upcoming weeks.

He also added that people are welcome to call him by any of his former names.

“But, if you still wanna call me Love, you can call me Love, baby,” he said. “But, I was only playing.”
