I rarely repost/retweet this sort of thing but I had to do it this time. This 9-year-old has stage 4 terminal cancer and is expected to die in one month. He loves Christmas, so his parents are going to celebrate it early in his hospital room. He is asking for cards to celebrate his last Christmas early http://dlvr.it/Pyx3zQ

More photos of him on his mom's FB page

Send cards to:

Absolutely, send a card. There was one of these similar things floating around a couple years ago. The child got hundreds of thousands of card. Piles of them were found in the garbage out back. The "care giver" had ripped open each one looking for the cash many people included, then tossed the rest. Kid never saw most of them.

People really are basically good.......aren't we?

I can be icy and salty at times but deep down I think most people are good. I say this with experience from this board. When I had my battle with the big C last year many on the board were there for me. Most I had never met in person but I will always remember their kindness.

Hugs,

Greg
