2. I suspect, from the context, that "extravagant " was a poor choice of words. I think he's trying to convey hes a spendthrift and can't control his spending.
   

I would move on, as you've chosen to do. But I admit, I was a repeat customer of an escort who was excellent when we were together, but a nightmare for scheduling and logistics. An Admin Ass't would have benefited him greatly.
