Average rate in different cities?

I'm curious what the average rate is in different cities. Obviously, they will differ between big cities and smaller cities, but by how much? You'd think with more competition (in big cities), prices might be cheaper, but i don't think that's true.

 

If this information exists, I'd love to know what I should expect in different parts of the country (or the world).

From what I see, donations are relative to the general income of the area. For example, New York City is and expensive place to be, therefore regardless of the volume of competition, a $300 rate bats no eyes. In Las Vegas, minimum wage jobs are a-plenty, and finding a companion for $100 an hour is not difficult. If one were to offer a rate that low in NYC, nobody would see them because something must be wrong.

I'm not sure I understand your correlation between "minimum wage jobs are a-plenty" and low escort fees. If we follow the concept of supply and demand it would seem that a place with loads of jobs would allow the worker to take their pick and either choosing to escort, or being choosy about one's rates as an escort would be borne out by the market. Whereas if jobs were tighter and work was harder to find an escort would be very motivated to charge a lower price relative to their own prospects and the financial standing of those around them. Economics.

In Austin,

200 is a heavily centered mean and median. Youngsters, beauties, and scammers will ask for 300. They rarely fight hard enough to get it. I indulge the request for 300 only when I want to make them feel special, or to make myself look good. 170 is still very common, and may be the a"real" market. And, such as those who you would cross the street to avoid, will offer to play for about 100 (specifically, 110, 180, and 150).

 

I paid 500 recently in Austin for an escort from Dallas. I rationalized as follows: I'm in Austin, and have a wine cellar, and a bar, and access to what the Jazz musicians want. My sheets are clean; they and my mattress are uber comfortable. I'm saving airfare or luxury coach fare. $200.oo. If I host, a room at the Omni or another clean hotel downtown which has unfettered elevator access will cost 200-300. I say "if" I host, but of course I do. I don't want to expose myself where dozens may have left their dna.

 

I have not personally seen different prices for different behaviors. I have encountered price shifters, but not in Austin. I have seen escorts try to raise the price when the escort knows well in advance what was on the agenda. Even when he himself sent the text. I have not encountered a smorgasbord of different prices for different activities.
