Mattress protection

Don't worry about the bed. Do it on the floor, the couch, or the kitchen table. Try the garage too. Back seat of the car, anyone? Or even the washing machine and/or dryer. Why limit yourself to the bed? Walk-in closet?

 

When your friend returns you can honestly state you did not have sex in his bed. The couch might be a different matter but you could have a clear conscience about "doing it" in his bedroom.

Since he's a friend of yours, maybe he's understanding of your situation.. not being able to have sex with other men often... Perhaps you could have just asked him? I would have... "Hey, you know I don't get to be alone and hook up often. Is it okay if I have someone over whilst I'm housesitting?"

 

Of course, what do I know? I don't have any friends. That was just a hypothetical for me. Carry on.
