it's got to be a picture on the internet. You can't post directly from your computer.

Ok. How? I tried to copy and paste but did not work.

Click the icon that looks like a line chart (next to the smiley face) above where you type, and paste the address/URL of the picture, not the picture itself. To get the URL of the picture, you can right-click on it (in Chrome at least), "Copy image address"

I have tried to include a picture to a post I made but everything I tried has not worked. What is the secret? Thanks.

Any images you want to post have to be on the internet, somewhere that is accessible to all other users is obviously preferable. If it's one of your own photos, et can be as simple as posting it on your own social media account and linking it to here. Once it's on a website you can copy and paste the image, or copy the link to it and use the image icon when you are creating your post in here. [Ed: I've found that although in the past I had been able to copy and paste the image, in recent months Firefox won't let me do it (it only lets me use the URL method) but Microsoft Edge will.] The forum is then only posting a link, and doesn't need the storage space for the image.

ALSO if you use a "host" site to upload and copy your photo's url, you cannot simply click on it and copy the url you MUST open the photo in a new window and copy the URL that literally ends in JPG JPEG etc.
