Hey y'all

I'm a bit of newbie to all things tech but I'm wondering if anyone would be able to offer me some advice. My website www.cydstvincent.com does not come up when you search several key terms in google, most notably FTM escort, even though its the tagline of the website. I have a lot of content on the page that should make it friendly to SEO's - lots of links in and out and variation in text, but nothing seems to be happening even after the site being up for many months. Any suggestions about what I can do???

My pathetic understanding is that the content of a particular site is only one element of its search ranking. Other important factors are the quantity and rankings of the sites that link to yours and I am sure there are many more factors. I notice when I searched for FTM escort, your twitter was on the first page of results. I don't have a lot of insight into the FTM escort world, but that seems like a pretty good result, even though it's not your personal site.

Having said that, your site doesn't appear to support secure connections (https):

Here is a good overview of the transition to https as related to SEO:

Hopefully someone with more direct experience will chime in to help you more and show just how little I know.

Are you using Wordpress? If you are, you have several apps you can plug in to your dashboard. I use Yoast SEO, it gives you analytics on your writing and your SEO structure, with advice on how to improve them. I have no idea what the measurement for success in a blog like mine is, but I am averaging 90 viewers daily.

Thanks so much! I didn't know about that plug in and I'll definitely use it! Right now I'm not getting bad stats for views but they're all coming by way of my twitter and if you are already on my twitter than you already can just go to my rentmen ad thats linked, that's not really the purpose of having a whole separate website. I'll see if I can boost SEO that way though!

Thanks! I'm gonna try and figure out how to do that. It should be https I don't know why that hadn't really jumped out at me before, except again, that I'm a n00b

Consider @oldNbusted advice also. You should have a link to your website in your rentmen profile. Rentmen ranks high, clicks in your link from their URL will improve your own ranking.
