Because Grindr is completely different than Masseurfinder. One is professional and the other is personal, or at least that's how it's supposed to be.

I was referring more the type of picture that publishes in MF... it makes you think he offers sensual/erotic. Mentioning grindr was just to give context more than anything. He has a lot of shirtless and suggestive photos. Kind of misleading I'd say.

Apologies if I misrepresented... instead of "clothed" he actually said "in shorts".

if he is straight I doubt he would have a grinder profile?

I know a local personal trainer who identifies as straight and is married to a woman who uses grindr to attract clients. He focuses on gay men for clients. His advertising is focused. He's found his niche and it seems to work for him.

Yes that was pretty stupid on my part. I forgot the motto... Location, Location,Location Grinder is prime real estate. Though I wonder if anyone gets mad at the switch from hookup to commerce in the use of the hookup app.

I haven't seen his ad, but doesn't grindr have a profile description? He could say he's a massage guy looking for clients and only on for networking or something. Though, maybe people don't read such stuff when they have horny vision?

It's against Grindr TOS to advertise as a masseur or escort. I know a masseur that advertises and they take down the ad like in 24 hours. He creates a new ad every day in Grindr.

Ok. So maybe they're "DL" about their intent on grindr but only looking for networking? I'm just speculating.

It's dishonest and scammy. He's posting sexy pictures to imply a sensual massage with a HE. He's "advertising" on Grindr to bait and switch guys into procuring his non-sexual massage services. He's benefiting from the fact that 90% of massage clients don't ask up front, "Will you be nude, offer mutual touch and a release?" When they see his MasseurFinder ad based in his shirtless picture they just assume it's that kinda massage. So he's making good money implying one thing and delivering something else. AVOID
