I loved Brooke Shields's response to his "ridiculous rant" (her words) in the New York Times last week. Then again, I just love Brooke.

Actually, I think Shields let him off unbelievably easy. She could have cast aspersions as to his sexual preferances by referring to his rediculous antics with 2 ex wives and the rebounding to 2 new girlfriends (one now his fiance) She could have murdered him and in such a way there would be no room for a 10 mil $ lawsuite.

 

Mr Cruise should be very thankful indeed!

The number of different solar systems in this galaxy alone (let alone those on other glaxies) is beyond human comprehension. It's hard to imagine there isn't intelligent life on some of them. My guess is that the reason we haven't been in contact with life from other solar systems is that we're on the fringes of our galaxy. That, and/or maybe it is, in fact, impossible to travel faster than the speed of light.

To be completely honest, I have a hard time imagining intelligent life-forms outside our little earth. I understand that it may make statistical sense. But, I'm a Born-Again Skeptic and don't always open up my mind to the extended universe.

 

Perhaps TC knows more than most people. But his arrogance and off-the-cuff sweaping statements irritate me. I used to really like him. But, lately, I've noticed an attitude towards others that is offensive.

 

I personally wonder if he isn't bi-polar and in need of serious meds.

I agree that he's (1) arrogant as all hell. He's also (2) gay as a fruitcake, (3) infertile as a castrato, and (4) completely f***ed up by the Church of Scientology.
