That looks ill advised. Humor aside

  1. Flush, and you can't control how much water... its the tank
  2. Newer low gpf toilets use various forms of hydraulic pressure to produce a very forceful flush, compensating for less water. Sticking a mini firehose up your ass with no way to control velocity or volume. More likely... there's going to be a blowout at the hose.
  3. Not something I'd want sitting around on display once attached. And repeatedly attatching/detaching any plumbing connection is the recipe for a leak... not to mention that it often requires contortionist maneuvers to gain access in small spaces.

Ill stick to an older, more controllable method.

Agreed on #3: Tacky!!!

As for water flow: the unit has its own valve so usage is independent of toilet flushing, however you would have to reach down, under and back to reach the valve!?!?!? Can we say AWKWARD?

Not that a plumbing/physics symposium is productive .... but (butt?;))

Newer water saving toilet. Uses extra pressure to deliver high velocity gush of water when flushed. Valve on the enema device partly closed to control pressure.

Isn't that a recipe for a plumbing blowout?

Ohhhhh... never mind. Water source is NOT the toilet tank... its the tank FEED. I get that now.

I had an obligate Occupational THerapy follow up to a recent hospitalization.

In walks this 5'9" Lumbersexual, complete with medium brown beard and absolutely rock-hard, flat abs. Let me assure you: If you can see them through the plaid shirt, they're real.

He wanted to MAKE SURE that if I were uncomfortable with ANYTHING, please call him on HIS PERSONAL CELL PHONE.

He checked out the bathroom, and was slightly off-put that I didn't have a hand-held shower.

Did I miss some major flirting here?

Yes, I think you did.

You should call him and ask him to install a hand-held shower for you.
