Have any clients ever played along with a scam? Just to see where it leads? Or, as some form of reaction to having been scammed too many times? A convoluted feeling of payback?

Have you ever proceeded to schedule an appointment with an escort you have every reason to believe is a fake, (and knowing there's almost no safety risk), just because you're tired of all the fakes? i.e. - he's the proverbial last straw .... Thought about it?

I doubt I'll do it, in fact, I probably won't let myself waste the time, as there's no real benefit.

But I confess that I'm having such tempting thoughts at present.... Maybe just sharing and asking about it here on the forum is catharsis enough?

I've written to a few guys letting them know the world is on to them......replies vary from "hell yeah those pictures are fake!" (I thanked him for his honesty) to utter silence......

yes, I have occasionally thought of setting up meetings at my hotel room with the more notorious scammers and having a couple of my bigger buddies hide in the closet minutes before the scammer arrives.....

vigilance here on the forum is the best thing......and I think we all should get in the habit of writing to the established scammers and letting them know

Get a burner phone and send the scammer to a random room number in a random 5-star hotel in a city in which I am not even present? Yeah I thought about it too, but never done.

I really would want to be sure the room is not being used, though, imagine the poor old straight guy who gets a 190 pound ugly escort demanding his fee at his hotel door!

What does it say about someone to devote time and energy to this kind of plot?

As I said, I have never done this. I just thought about it, which requires very little energy, and was entertaining.

Sorry if I misspoke. I was not referring to the person who plays with the fantasy of. revenge, but to the person who actually performs it.

Well... the odds are hugely stacked towards my doing nothing.

But if I follow through on my fantasy.... I wont post the outcome here.

Some things just have a way of backfiring. You want to "What?" with a scammer?

Thanks to all you kind folks, in my few hires, I've never been scammed, so have never thought about it. As for just picking out some known scammer at random to mess with him, not in my nature, but I can see how thoughts of doing so can happen. It's best left up to karma.
