What is that strap called he's using (in Pic #2 from my Rent.men view) to hold his legs back?

I've never seen one (which doesn't mean much - ). Are they common?

To me there's something appealing though he's not typically what visually stimulates me. I'd let him take me for a spin. I like the portal sling contraption, too.

I think he's adorable. He looks very 'Seattle-ish'. There are tons of guys with that same beard. There are so many guys with them that I'm assuming some of them must be straight.
