I'd need some hard proof that our chemistry was reliable.

Trips are hard on any relationship. I'd suggest a few

overnight test runs before committing to an over seas

trip. It's easy to feel trapped in a foreign land, especially

if you not an experienced world traveler.

There's been several men I thought might be good companions

for an extended trip together. Unfortunately, no one has made

it past the overnight trial run so far.

Then again, that may say more about me than about them....grin

It was very odd.

I tried to meet an escort in Seattle, but he'd left. I left a few days later.

A year later (!) he contacts me and says "Are you still interested?" Hell, yes.

I book a couple of hours (I'm slow) and ask about the possibility of a bite afterward. He says "We'll see."

I'm in the hotel lobby waiting. I see the unsub and say hi.

We go to the room. I start to make small talk - for all of about three minutes. I was pounced upon, and came up for air about 45 minutes later.

Dinner was quick but informative.

Three months later, we took a six-day trip, Boston to Bar Harbor ... where it snowed on Mt. Cadillac.

Six months later, the trip to Montreal.

I think his estimation of compatibility is better than mine, but it didn't take long for us to find each other's groove.

Is this the same escort who fell asleep with his head in your lap while you watched the Super Bowl?

~Boomer ~

No … that was the playoff. I just couldn't wake him, he was so comfortable.

I was in hospital being treated for a knee replacement infection for the Super Bowl. I fell asleep in the third quarter. something woke me, the noise I think, and someone came in to tell me: They're on mandatory overtime.

I fell asleep again.

The farthest I've traveled with a client is Hawaii, but if it's a first time client, would you be open to traveling outside of the country with him?

I've done it dozens of times and it's always been rewarding. No horror stories here.

There's no better education than seeing the world. As long as you feel comfortable with the communication, go for it :)
