Be aware of guys who take out fake ads on Masseurfinder to target other therapists.

Recently a guy (scammer) who had an ad on Masseurfinder contacted therapists in my area wanting a session as he was visiting from out of town.

While the local therapist is out of the room to allow them to undress, the guy pockets their phone.

After the session, the visiting client leaves with the therapist's phone!

Please guard your phones and personal information to prevent this from happening to you.

Safeguard your client's information. Enable remote wiping of data on your cell phones!

Suppose you are a "scammer" and want to acquire a list of escorts/therapists "clients" for nefarious purposes.

Steal escort's cell phones which contain e-mails, address books, texts, etc....

All I'm saying is safeguard cell phones, password protect them, and enable remote "wiping" in case they are lost...

The "client" must have been psychic if he knew the masseur was going to leave his cell phone in the room unattended and then not miss it during the massage.

Not really. A professional masseur would not look at his phone during a session.

Not some of the ones I've hired, and they've all been from professional sites...well except for that time in Bangkok, but that's for another show. ;)

Yeah, Masseurfinder refuses to accept ads from anyone who leaves their phone on during an appointment.

I am perplexed by the majority of the responses to this post. Thanks MassageGuy for your report. But it seems lost here. I suggest that you reach out to other massage providers.

I have alerted others in my area.

For those who do in calls in their home/studio, it is important not to leave valuables in the room or to leave the client unattended.
