First and foremost I will say right up front that if the guy was available in my area I would definitely hire him in an instance. Now take this next point from someone (me) who has taken steroids and likes the steroid look. If you, however, don't like the look be wary as a couple of his photographs would definitely indicate that he is into heavy steroid usage.

Ah, good point. I think I will need to see him up close and personal in order to find out if the steroid look puts me off.

I think he DOES look like he's on steroids, guys who do it they'll deny it to the grave, I think a more natural look would look better on him but that's just my 2 cents as @bigvalboy used to say often and unfortunate he stopped doing it

Heavy steroid usage leads to extreme vascularity, a look many bodybuilders appreciate and seek. Continuous flushness of the face and the upper chest is also indicative of steroid usage. If these conditions are evident in a serious bodybuilder it is a safe bet he is using steroids.

 

P.S. For many years, in my long gone wasted youth, I was seriously into bodybuilding and worked out at gyms where the other guys were also serious. We all used steroids and those above mentions conditions were very evident in all of us. Three other conditions that can go along with steroid usage are, roid-rage (short tempers), increased or decreased acne, and gynecomastia (only saw one case of this condition)

I had a very frustrating experience with Michael. He was coming to South Florida for a week, and we set up an appointment for two hours several days in advance. We confirmed a couple times during the week including the night before when he said he would contact me the next day for my address. He did contact me but to say he needed to reschedule from 8:00 to 10:30. He also now wanted me to drive an hour to where he was staying. I was pissed and let him know. He didn't even try to apologize.
