I've had three encounters so far with people claiming to represent a client that is visiting "my area" and wants to make an appointment. The scenarios are always the same where the client is coming from somewhere in Europe an needs me to suggest a hotel to stay at.

 

Does anyone else get these text messages?

Not sure whether this is any consolation, but I get messages about "business opportunities" all the time. Good way to test whether your computer's "delete" key still works.

I've gotten one before. It was a too good to be true kind of situation where they were offering a crazy amount of money for a night with a foreign client. It skeeved me out hardcore.

 

Hmm they offered you a lot? This last person told me to consider a discount for his client...
