I understand your point... but let's consider how flaky clients have become during the years and how many escorts complaint on here about constant cancellations. Paying $20 upfront by PayPal or any other more discreet way doesn't seem bad for me.

This is not going to the dentist or doctor. I'm hiring an escort. I have an important job nd there are times where I have had to cancel. Same with any escort who cancels on me. Even my regular guy has had medical issues personal issues we move on. As I said no escort will get a deposit fro me.

I've had escorts cancel on me or no show when I've reserved time and changed plans. I don't get compensated and my time is valuable as well. It's a risk both sides take.

Re: the general discussion, handiacefailure had a pretty valid point of view. I think it’s a little unfair to assume their own work is more important than those of others, and that their own time is more valuable than that of others. Escorts (at least the full time ones) are in the business for a living, just like what we are doing everyday at our own work. The key, I believe, is just being respectful of one’s time. If an escort has had a bad experience with a client’s flakiness and needs a deposit as a strategy to keep flakers at bay, then be up front about it and ask away! If the deposit makes for a more reliable and memorable experience, I bet people will talk about it and probably wouldn’t mind spending a small amont beforehand in exchange for a good time. On the clients side, if you are confident that you are reliable and that a request for a deposit offends you, there are plenty of others to choose from. It’s a delicate balance especially in the service industry. People are sloppy in nature and some will never change, but at least we can try. This forum is a place to exchange points of view between all parties and one of the reasons why this forum is so much more important than just to get 411s about an escort.
