Sondheim at Seven

Tonight's concert (at 7pm) at Town Hall raised $500,000 for the Irish Repertory Theatre. It was one night only with a large orchestra, chorus and Broadway stars singing many of Sondheim's best loved songs.

Angela Lansbury kicked off the evening and the performers who sang were Nancy Anderson, Len Cariou, Michael Cerveris, Melissa Errico, Mark Evans, Danielle Ferland, Malcolm Gets, Ken Jennings, Jeremy Jordan, Donna Kane, Rebecca Luker, Howard McGillin, Ciaran Sheehan, Ryan Silverman and Max Von Essen.

Everyone was terrific and the chorus ended with "Sunday" from Sunday In The Park With George.

Unfortunately Sondheim himself was not there but he probably donated a few $$$ to the Irish Rep.
