Tonight, I was watching an interesting report about the first 7-star hotel which just opened in 2005 : The Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. I am wondering if anyone here stayed at that hotel ?

>Just wondering are there any 6-star hotels?

The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore is a 6-star hotel :-)

Just bear in mind that the classification is based on their own standards and the ratings of hotels come from a variety of sources (government, tourism groups, operators). For example a five-star hotel in the USA is not comparable to a five-star in Egypt. There is no guarantee of consistency.

I've stayed at the Fullerton in Singapore about a dozen times. Nice, but no better than your average 5-star.

I would love to stay there,

but I do not have any white sheets in my size,

that fit at this time!

I wonder how many excorts receive special invitations to be personal guests to places like this?

Why would you take your own sheets?

Steve-o...I'm trying, Usually Im quick on the feet. If he had said white towels and we were talking about a bathhouse, I'd get it...but I'm still in the dark.

That last picture with the marble-looking room divider and the gleaming floor reminded me of when I was walking around in a shopping galleria with a friend named Koen who smokes. He had this habit of spitting like some smokers do.

So we're walking through this place and I hear Koen hork up a load. I don't even look at him because I know he's about to let one go. He's clearly noticed the gleaming atrium with its shiny floors and pristine plants just like I did. There's a pause and I hear him a moment later say pitifully with his cute Dutch accent, "I don't know where to spit!"
