A very cute & nice guy.

I met Jason a few weeks ago from a Craigs List post when he was financially "troubled" and potentially thought he may be homeless. I volunteerd this site as a business potential, suggested an intro at the next LA Hooville gathering- when Bobby T, Scott A, Athen & Ben showed up, also offered to write him a review,if I received his permission, but he never got back to me.

Today I saw him as Cover Boy (Congratulations to him) however wonder now who has the "casting couch" vote for this prestigious posting opportunity. I think and have met many escorts who would love this People Mag type Worldwide cover for exposure.

This is not meant at all as a negative post to Jason. I wish him all the very best. :)

Fun I was a cover boy not too long ago and I can vouche there is no casting couch. As far as I know I have never been hired by any of the moderators or by Hooboy. In the FAQ section up above there is a formal answer to this casting couch question:

How do I get to be CoverBoy of the day? Is there a charge for that?

 

There is no charge. The cover picture is chosen from the day's reviews or new pictures. The only real requirement is that he show his face. The Coverboy does not represent this site and being selected does not imply an endorsement from this site. We try to select a variety of looks in coverboys.

I think that this might be the answer you were looking for but if not maybe someone else can give a better answer.

Exactly right, Greg. (And there's a recent thread in Daddy's place that discusses the same thing.)

 

Note that the rules will sometimes be bent a bit when none of "today's" pics show a face, or the only choices have previously been coverboy within the 'waiting period'. Sometimes, Hooboy would just have to pick one because that's all there was that day.

 

I believe Daddy is operating on the same theory.

Just met up with Jason last week and had a blast with him -- review has been sent in (message me if you want a preview). Twink lovers should definitely pay attention to this kid.

 

I suggested that he send Daddy a better pic than was posted at the time, and that must have caught Daddy's attention. I have to say that, IMHO, the pic he sent in is far from his best, and he's at least as good looking in person as in any of his pics.

 

BTW, he has an ad on Rentboy (as "Jason Sewart") that has some additional pics, and the write-up on it gives you a sense of his personality. He's also in a more stable living environment now vs. what was mentioned in the post above (has a nice private bedroom in a large shared apartment and seems to be making it a real home for himself).

 

Anyway, just wanted to comment on Jason. Why did Daddy pick him for Cover Boy? I assume the same way that Hoo said he usually did -- based on his reaction to the pics sent in that day.

Thanks for your opinion too. I was just curious how the new "Star is Born" shot to the front of the line so fast. Agree,that he is a very nice addition to the LA twink scene and maybe he can come to the LA Hooville Dinner tonight too. As mentioned,I asked him before to attend the last one but he disappeared. Your friend knows the story.

P.S. Better keep MA away from Jason. .:-)

IMHO..I doubt there has ever been any kind of moving away from the Standard for "Coverboy"..HOO set down, along time ago. There are from time to time, guys with "Slim Shady" reviews who have been on the cover! Some guys LUV the attention, show their face..Others have reasons for not showing, in some cases..THEIR Dam GoodLooking Faces!lol :+

I think that Jason might have come to the HooVille meeting tonight -- except that he's out of town (please trip) right now. Same for Bobby T. Too bad -- was hoping that they'd be there for my own debut tonight, LOL. I'll see what I can do about encouraging Jason to come in the future.

I think I waited a good year and a half or two to be cover boy. Honestly it was not something I was trying to do. But the picute that was first posted on my review page was not the most flattering. The pictures that followed were of much better quality so I think that is why it took Hoo awhile to put me as cover boy. Just my two cents worth.
