Rentmen in the US - interest lists

Hi there. Question about Rentmen use, if I may. Apologies if this isn't the right place for it.

 

I'm Canadian and I've noticed recently that when I travel to the US, the "Available For" lists on the RM profiles are very generic, and the specific lists aren't there. I see them when I'm in Canada, but as soon as I come to the US, they are gone and instead it just lists the below, but no specific things.

 

Available For:

Escort | Modeling | Erotic Massage | Bodywork | Available for videos | BF Experience | Stripping

 

Do those lists not display to Americans? Or do I need to do something within my profile to be able to see? Those lists are fairly important to my hiring choices, so I feel a little blind without them.

in addition to what you mention happening in the US, the text within the RM reviews apparently doesn't appear, too......this has been discussed before here and may be a cautionary setting by RM HQ in the Netherlands because of recent perceptions of a conservative-tilt in the US

 

there is an easy way to get around this and it was mentioned in an earlier thread.....I hope somebody can remind us (don't have time right this moment to find it)

Were you referring to this?

 

1) Go to: https://hide.me/en/proxy

2) Make sure 'Proxy location' is set to Netherlands (it's usually the default).

3) Type in rentmen.com in the 'Enter web address' window.

4) Click on the red search button. (Some have posted a yellow button, but I've never seen one.)

5) Type in the name of a particular escort, or a location under the appropriate search filter, and you should see the international version of the postings.

 

You can read the written reviews of the escorts (provided a client wrote one). It's somewhat cumbersome, but better than nothing.

I got a yellow search button and it took me to the site...but wouldn't let me go beyond that to any profiles. I only got error messaged that say:

 

"The requested resource could not be loaded because the server returned an error:

404 Not Found (?)."

You can download any number of apps for your tablet or smartphone. I use Turbo VPN for my Android tablet and it works like a charm. Just launch it and choose any country other than Trumpland and you're good to go.

When I tried accessing the site from my phone, I got the same message that you received. I can get through on my laptop.

You have to remember that prostitution is legal in Canada but a crime in the US. Rentmen is a Dutch company and I expect their listing service are adapted for the country where ads are read. That would seem to explain why you would have to go through this masking operation to get a review that is available to non-US readers.

I'm curious as to what other countries have some of the Rentmen content blocked.
