Wher can I host my avatar?

As you can tell by the little box with the little x next to my name, I am having problems with my avatar. I tried putting it on my AOL homepage but still got that crazy box. Every other site I have tried is password required so I assume it won't work. Any suggestions?

Skrubber there was a post on here awhile back that told how to do it search the archives. I know I followed it and got mine on here. Also I think there is a place in our profile for it as well HUGS Chuck

Go to the user profile and edit your profile there is a list on optional avatar's. I guess if yuo want something other than there you would have to do it different. HUGS Chuck

You can post it anywhere that allows remote linking.

 

If you can paste the http address of the picture into your browser's address bar and have the picture appear, chances are good it will work. Unless it's a http address to a script. It MUST be an address to a file.

 

The image up above next to the FAQ link is a full URL to a file:

I added spaces so the board software won't display the picture. Without the spaces, it looks like this:

To find a free hosting service, do a google search for "free hosting".
