... I will be in Seattle this week (Tue—Thu., 28-30th of March) for work and one of the few times I will be alone (away from the wife).

Wow! That must have been exciting. And actually, I've NEVER been to a place like this! Which is why I'm so anxious but, I'll chat it up with the guy at the booth, sure. If he can show me the ropes that'd be fine too. If not, I think I read something about their having "glory holes" and that might be something I can try and do (me being the one servicing). I seem to believe it's less stressful if I don't have to see his face and simply concentrate on how and what I'm doing. (???)

We never heard back from your experience. I hope it was good. I never saw this thread to begin with. If I had, I would have told you that distances were deceiving on whatever map you looked at. Steamworks is not what I would consider within easy walking distance of 6th and Virginia. On top of that it would be walking uphill to get to it.

Wow, I never thought anyone would follow up on this Forum but, yes, I did make it to Steamworks and frankly, I don't think it should've been the first place to go as a complete noob. First, I was afraid and quite nervous. Secondly, I did "meet" someone there and attempted to do what I always wanted to do...

...I lasted 5 min before I ran out of there a bit upset at how I was treated.

 

It was a bad call on my part and I think it was mentioned here in this Forum that I was setting myself for high expectations, that couldn't have been more true.
