I haven't joined this forum for a long time. And I have to admit it impossible for me to read all posts which so many nice guys put here in more than 10 years.

When I'd like to ask a question, I will try to search old posts. But it is not easy, since not all questions can be summarized with keywords or phrases.

I know I kept asking some questions which were already answered on this forum but I don't know.

Any advice for this?

Sorry, maybe this question has been answered before.

welcome to the forum......

it'll take a while to get the hang of this place......don't sweat it when a forum member gets all over you for not doing a diligent search.....cooler heads will prevail and might help you out......

in the meantime, continue perusing all the subforums for the various discussions here and there....lots to learn and fun stuff to read

I echo glennnn's message to you. Yes, there are numerable posts, vast ones here. If you have a query-- just ask in hopes that the respondents will be civil to you. If some are not-- "IGNORE" their posts.

I've been here for a very long time and have posted a lot as well as ask for advice when I've felt the need. Invariably, the guys have responded favorably, for I try to stay in a positive mode as well as mood!

Major points for the 50 cent word. A tick off for misspelling:) Unless you were going for Esperanto. In which case, I salute you.

Honestly! In fact, you will be providing a much needed service. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

Some of us prowl the Forums all day long, praying for a new member to ask a question that has been answered before. Even if the question is ten years old, it still gives us a chance to climb up onto the rostrum, shake our fists, and excoriate the novice who hasn't yet stumbled across the post that we thought was the last and enduring word on the subject.

It brings a spring to our step, a twinkle to our eye, and a rosy hue to cheeks which have sallowed through the years. The health benefits alone are worth their weight in gold.

And, if by some chance the question has not been asked before, you yourself will now be in a position to jump all over the next new member who asks it. And we will all feel right at home.

it could be worse. You could be in a technical forum. The number of times I've seen a "how do I do this?" question followed by a "You shouldn't even want to do that!" answer, 90% of the time from someone who has misunderstood the original question...I just shake my head.

True story, this! Ask and ye shall receive.

Shit! Not Esperanto. Just arrogance in not proofing my humble contributions. I'll turn in my blue pencil immediately. (Bloviate, bloviate, BLOVIATE!!!)
