I couldn't be more crushed. Due to an unexpected situation I cannot attend CHER'S farewell concert in Chicago on April 16th. This show has been sold out for months and am looking to see if there is someone who would like the experience of a lifetime. If you think Rick Monroe's ass is hot, this show sizzles (I've seen it three times in various cities...the concert that is...lol)These are two (2)tickets front section; row 3. Face value is $75. If anyone is interested please let me know....It truly is a fab show!!!!

I'm not really suprised that she's still touring after all this time. Ironically she is ending her current farewell tour at the venue where her live shows first began over thirty years ago at the Hollywood Bowl in Southern California. In fact her promoters I believe added a second show on April 29. I guess after it's anybody's guess as to when she'll reappear on the tour cycle.

I've never really been a big fan of her music, except for the 1989 hit " If I Could Turn Back Time ". I was like every school boy at the time. I certainly wouldn't have minded being on that particular aircraft carrier when she shot the music video for her hit song. She deserves a lot of credit for her longevity in the music business. I admire her a lot in that regard.

I noticed a few days ago, there was the induction with the likes of U2, The Pretenders, The O-Jays, The Four Tops into the Rock N'Roll Hall Of Fame in New York. Hopefully over the next few years, I hope her peers nominate her and she makes that leap into music immortality.

I use the "Cher" AOL.. "Do You Believe- in Mail" voice notification.. It definitely makes me feel very GAY! LOL The Concerts all have a high energy..Both CHER and Tina Turner are their own "Hall of Fame"..They will never be equalled, their Longevity assures that! :+ :+ :+

I love Cher, but really! Her farewell tour seems to be taking longer than the sinking of the ship in Titanic, the movie! Slip under the damn ice already!!!

You have to love Cher, as she has reached the absolute heights with a minimal amount of natural talent. She has more lives than a cat!

All admirable, but worthy of the R&R Hall of Fame? Not in my opinion, unless she is inducted as part of the duo Sonny & Cher, and even then the honor would be debatable as to their influence and impact on rock and roll history, but they certainly were popular in the mid-60's, when Cher's fashions generated almost as much press as their records generated sales. They were almost as popular as the Mamas & Papas, but unlike M&P, neither one of them could carry a tune in an empty bucket! :)

Now, if there were a popular culture hall of fame, then Cher, alone, would be a shoo-in!

Sorry, I don't argue with people who are playing with less than a full complement of ammunition, as it is WAY TOO BORING. Post any response you wish, but I find you TOTALLY boring and will not respond to any more of your innocous drivel. Remember, you started this! Perhaps you should read the rules.

I always thought CHER was very "Theraputic", for people, singing, acting or living her extremely Exciting life..Now she is also apparently Theraputic in Releasing Built up Hostility on M4M! YES she is Definitely not the only "DIVA" in the world, she seems to bring it out a little in everyone! Back to the Original Question..Somebody please buy the guys Tickets! :+ :+ :+

Such a good boy. That'll make me fall in l--- :*

Btw, Derek and I were kind of bored at the Farwell concert, because we had seen Believe and the two tours were almost identical, except for costume changes. I wish she would take some chances and mix it up a little.

But yes, she deserves to be in the R&R Hall of Fame...who else has had hit records in 5 decades?? Connie, Cher and Blondie all need to get into that boys' club.
