Respectfully I have a different view. They are your PAID friend not merely your friend. I'm a doctor and I'm a person too. I'm nice to my patients but that doesn't mean we r friends. An escort is your paid friend who has sex with you for pay. Big difference than a friend.

I've been with my doctor for 20 years. I've taken him and his partner out to dinner and see them socially. So some of us treat professionals as machines, and some of us treat them as people. There area all kinds of "friends" in a person's life. You just need to respect boundaries depending on the nature of your relationship.

I appreciate and certainly respect the feedback from eveyone. Some general bottom lines and answers to some questions. They seem to blend. My former wife and children would have no problem with my declaration of being gay. So why haven't I done it? Without getting into all kinds of self psycho babble...that's me. The other issue is can an escort be a friend? I take issue with those that feel it can't take place. I serve as the example that it can and it can get better. Another question regarding reimbursement, and why should the escort charge if there is this personal relationship going on? I'm an independent health care provider. I get reimbursed by the hour. Although the amounts may have changed, I would never ask him to spend days with me without compensation. I am fortunate to have two partners in my life. My former wife and my friend, who just happened to have chosen escorting as a vocation. This is my definition of a partner. I would truly give my heart to tbem, my children and grandchildren in a flash if they needed.
