Sad news for those of us who fell in love with a TV Producer named Mary. Mary Tyler Moore died today at the age of 80. The women who made Capri pants not only fashionable but who looked really good in them, passed away from complications of Diabetes. She had been afflicted with Type I diabetes for many many years.

I loved her as Laurie Petrie and of course as Mary Richards, America's sweetheart and working woman extraordinaire.
