I don't do PR... I do honesty. I simply stated the blunt truth. Pretending that your connection with an escort is anything more than a financial transaction is how people get hurt and taken advantage of. I've talked to guys at bars who have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars cause they believed they were really in love with an escort that cleaned their clock. Nothing against the escort. He was apparently really good at his job. You may be offended by my words, but the truth is everyone wants someone to be with them because they want to not cause they are paid to. I'm actually ok with both professions. I don't look at either as "insults". Some of you apparently do though and I'm just pointing out peoples hypocrisy. Him working with the Adonis dancing gig is probably where the confusion was made since most of them escort on the side. I've been to two Adonis nights and believe me I never saw much difference. Go go is for the clubs. This was very intimate dancing.

Yes and Jake nearly tore his hand off when he was moving him. Imagine that. I do have to say I was fascinated by it though. They can take down a horse and to keep one in an apartment was stupid but amazing.

Bryan, if you are still following this thread, here are my respectful two cents (please feel free to discount even that modest assessment):

 

I agree that go go dancing/stripping is a very different occupation than escorting. Stripping or even sexy movies are generally legal (assuming you follow any applicable regulatory guidelines), while escorting is either illegal or on the borderline. As posters have said or intimated, ad nauseum, both occupations may involve wiggling your very sexy buttocks, but gyrating asses are legal if done in a club for tips but illegal if sex-for-pay. A fine line some might say, but the law is all about lines.

 

And, frankly, so is society. Some posters see no difference, in their personal moral systems, between stripping and escorting, but society sees a very big difference. It is well known that Channing Tatum, to take a sexy example, stripped in a club (maybe several), and that has not harmed his career (it even fueled the interest in Magic Mike). If Tatum had also escorted for paying female clients, think of how different the social reaction would have been?

 

Final thought: Social mores change! It may be that Forum Members who see no difference are in the Vanguard of Moral Attitudes in America. (New Trump Family Values!) But in the meantime Bryan Hawn is on solid ground when he insists on sharply differentiating between stripping/movie-making versus escorting.

I love dancers as well as escorts. I don't see much of a difference either. I don't think the problem with your first post indicating that Bryan escorts is that escorting is a major insult in and of itself, though Bryan seems to have some judgments about escorts and their clients. To me what's wrong about what you did is that while in your mind you were making a little joke, your post read as a serious share of information that those who wanted to hire Bryan as an escort need only subscribe to his YouTube channel. That's problematic for a number of reasons: Bryan will get people subscribing not to watch his videos but because they want to hire him as an escort, and he has to repeatedly turn down those requests. Then those prospective clients might wonder what is was about them or their approach that resulted in a "no" to their request when someone else said they would get a "yes" answer. What is potentially more problematic is that this could have an impact on Bryan's regular use of YouTube to promote the business he is in if YouTube decided to censor him because they believed he was using their service for an illegal purpose.

 

Has Bryan come across somewhat negatively in his responses here? Yes. But I understand his perspective that he needed to emphatically state that he doesn't escort since you were basically claiming otherwise.

 

And to those who have suggested that showing one's ass for money should automatically make that ass available for hire for personal pleasure, do you think the same is true for every actor or actress who takes his/her clothes off on TV or in a film? It's ludicrous to suggest that we should all be able to hire all of the celebrities who turn us on because they performed with their shirts or pants off.
