The AP is carrying a story about the vice in NYC shutting down top-of-the-line madams.

 

They quote one prostitute as agreeing to have sex with an undercover officer for $990.

 

A madam was reported to have "kept records with names of rich customers willing to pay up to $2,500 a hour for prostitues who could pass for lingerie models."

 

Yikes! That is in the second mortgage range for me.

"Adult Services" is probably the only "industry" in America where women make more than men, across the board.

 

Women put a higher price on sex than men do.

 

Show most men an opportunity to have sex and they're on it at any cost. Women will walk away. <shrug>

 

A close (female) friend of mine gave me no end of grief when I had a "roommate" that I didn't charge rent because he'd put out any time I wanted it. It was inconceivable to her, but it seemed like a pretty good arrangement to ME! ;-)

I know its not the norm, but y'all should talk to some of the straight guys and ask what they charge for sex...you'd be surprised at how high it goes.
